- Seat 1430-1800 Rallye de Polonia (1.976)

Después de muchos meses en los que, por diversos motivos que no vienen al caso, no he podido dedicarme de pleno a tallar, ha llegado por fin el día de presentaros mi última creación: el Seat 1430-1800 oficial, con la decoración específica que éste lució en el Rallye de Polonia de 1.976. En esta prueba, la pareja Zanini/Petisco obtuvo un meritorio segundo puesto, quedándose, tras una reñida lucha, a medio minuto del vencedor: el Lancia Stratos pilotado por el polaco Andrzej Jaroszewicz, hijo del primer ministro del pais en aquel momento. Las primeras etapas de la prueba, con diversas inclemencias climatológicas, fueron lideradas por el "taxi" de la pareja española. Pero, al mejorar las condiciones ambientales, el Stratos del duo Jaroszewicz/Żyszkowski remontaba hasta hacese con la victoria final. Y eso que al principio del año, los aficionados esperaban que los Seat tuvieran un rendimiento similar a los Polski Fiat!!:

que tallé el pasado año, aunque en esta ocasión, el coche no tiene el acabado con "efecto suciedad" que le aporté al anterior trabajo.
Bien, pues llega el momento de ponerse manos a la obra. La escala elegida para este trabajo es 1:18, y como siempre, en madera de haya. Preparamos un taco en el taller de mi tío Manolo, y comenzamos!!:

En general, el coche está ya definido. Ahora, toca lo más difícil: ir afinando detalles:

Comenzamos a dar color:

Antes de continuar, aplicamos una base de color gris sobre lo que será el asfalto:

Comenzamos a colorear los diferentes logos de los patrocinadores, una tarea realmente delicada:

Coloreando las ruedas, y protegiéndolas con imprimación una vez seca la pintura:

Y así se veía el coche recién aplicado el barniz final:

Y hasta aquí ha dado de si el proceso de ejecución de este trabajo, el cual ha sido, sin duda, el más arduo y difícil de cuantos se me han puesto por delante hasta la fecha. El resultado final es el siguiente:

Ahora toca cambiar un poco el chip, el trabajo que tengo que realizar a continuación es todo un desafío, totalmente diferente a lo vine haciendo hasta el momento. Hasta pronto!!
